Before the World Gets Weird Again

Before the World Gets Weird Again

Let’s talk about why almost everything at Hot Mess is limited.

It’s not a marketing strategy designed to make you panic-buy a hat. The truth is, I’ve been dreaming about this brand and procrastinating on it for years.

I had huge plans for Hot Mess. Full collections, perfect launches, perfectly timed campaigns. But living in Lebanon taught me that making plans and actually getting to live them are two very different things. And lately, the entire world feels weird af.

There was always something happening. A crisis. A war. A pandemic. Another reason to wait until life felt more secure.

But when exactly is that supposed to be?

I don’t know what Hot Mess will look like in one year. I don’t know how many collections I’ll be able to create or how smoothly everything will go. So, instead of waiting until I can build the biggest, most perfect version of this dream, I’m starting with what I have.

A small number of pieces. Limited quantities. One step at a time.

Some orders will arrive with a red envelope marked “Dare to Open.” If you receive one, it was chosen specifically for you. What’s inside might feel personal, uncomfortable, or a little heavier than expected. It’s meant for the people who genuinely want to look inward, ask themselves better questions, and grow, even when that process gets messy.

It’s about putting more energy into understanding and fixing ourselves than judging everyone around us. It’s about becoming better people while we’re still here. Not perfect people, just more honest ones.

And that’s also what this little corner of the website is going to be about.

Not constant updates about the brand, how I built it, what I’m launching, or what I’m selling. I want this to be a space for thoughts, uncomfortable questions, deep talks, and conversations we can keep expanding on together.

The kind of things we all think about but don’t always say out loud.

So yes, the pieces are limited.

Not because I want to create fake urgency, but because I’m done waiting for the world to become predictable before I let myself begin.

We’re here now.

We might as well do something real with it.
